Cleveland HiBORE XL and XL Tour Driver Review (Clubs, Review) – The Sand Trap
There were many times when I would tee off with my 3 iron because I knew I could hit it further than any of my woods. With the Cleveland my carry was — and I got way more roll, on average 25 — 30 yards, but sometimes up to 50 yards. The Tour model has a shallower body to allow for more workability.
Enjoy the article very much. Actually, I hit the 8. The issue, apparently, was a COR thing. Off center hits are loud as well and you get feedback ccleveland the club.
No it does not come with an offset. This celveland is a great club!!! What shaft works well with this head! If you prefer to use your own shipping service, you are welcome to do that at your own expense. I can hit my three wood off the fairway, also a HiBore with X shaft. He hits his drive But I have the XL Tour, which is a slightly smaller head.
This golf club shows considerable wear but is usable. Went on line for a good review and got a great one thanks. I hit this club better than any other driver I have ever tried.
As far as I know, all other ones are OK.
Cleveland HiBore XL Driver
This golf club has been well used, but not abused. Light wear on the face, sole and crown. Sometimes it is the archer and not just the arrow. I am also not sure that butt trimming this club will have the same glorious effects that it had on my other driver. Slice gone and drove at least 50 yards further than my old Callaway. I am out hitting my TailorMade by a mile but more importantly I am able to hit longer AND ease off a little on the swing, which means more fairways hit.
I would recommend the red shaft to you. I have a 6 handicap and decent swing speed but I have had trouble finding a 45 inch shaft with the right combination of torque and stiffness. The only one I am missing is the driver. I would be very careful of any Cleveland drivers on ebay.
What a wonderful weapon. Was fitted with a Hibore XL My first inclination was to tell you to go with the standard model, but your best bet would probably be to hit both of them on a launch monitor. I just got fitted today at my local golf shop for a new Hibore XL. The difference is the COR is too high —.
