For some reason, I kept hitting the ball close to the heel of the clubface my fault of course. Average Black paint has been removed from the head. Any supporting comments about this club being a fader and suggestions will be sincerely appreciated. Both clubs were actually the best clubs I have hit that I can remember. When I lose feel for my swing, my swing plane grows much too tall and I tend to strike down on the ball, producing the occasional pop-up.

You are looking at a very nice set of irons. I hope that helps. When you look hard at the angle of the face, it appears to be a good three to four degrees cleve,and. I hit my old outdated Head irons stiff flex straight and long. I honestly believe that the Hi-Bore will lessen a lot of your mistakes no matter which shaft you end up using. In our view this is a great set for higher handicappers clevdland beginner and anyone who likes just hitting balls for fun wth a smile on their face! The Fujikura shaft has a low kickpoint which may help explain this, as lower kick points can easily add a few degrees to the launch angle. While I really had no problem adjusting to this, most of my playing partners could not quickly adjust.

Hard to find these irons with steel stiff flex. As you go up the HiBore XLi set to the long irons, the heads get deeper and look and sound more like a hybrid or small fairway wood, which is not a bad thing, but may take some getting used to if you are used to more traditional irons shapes.
